It has been along time since I have seen it. I remember not being fully able to making sense of it. I just chalked it up to one of those movies that just makes you feel things + I really liked the final scene with the woman and the sled dogs.

FEELINGS, TRUST NOT. SLED DOGS, BETTER COMPANIONS, THEY ARE. HMMM?

I do think it’s one of those. Made me think of Robert Eggers style a bit. More dialog but usually incomprehensible (the witch for example, the other 2 as well). The feeling is more important

Ya, it can be a bit frustrating while watching but they have a tendency to stay with you for awhile.

The witch is one of my favourites

It is mine too.

Nice!

What do you think of Hereditary by Ari Aster?

I haven’t seen it. Maybe watch this weekend!

Now that you brought it up I need to rewatch, it was so good.

Starts cold as ice with the family getting banned. I remember rewatching this after having kids. What a blow

Ruthless

What do you do in his situation? Speak your truth and get banned. With the wife and 4 kids to feed. Or keep it to yourself? Especially knowing what happens next where banned means death. What a dilemma

Such a great dilemma, and so relatable, dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t.

He was screwed from the beginning. Love that it sparks discussion

What did you think of his new movie, Nosferatu?
