I'd call keepassxc a security tool not privacy...

But I suppose by having multiple passwords you're keeping them private in a sense. Since it's only used once. Versus if it's used everywhere, hacked, decrypted (thus no longer private) and then you're exposed.

If I want something to be private I keep it in my head or I keep it offline.

Simplex has implented censorship (moderation standards), mullvad also was reported to have serious security issues

I use ivpn for VPN (smaller and less known, hence less likely a target of agencies)

As for chat.... I was really disapointed by simplex. Unsure what to use now.
