I'm glad I've journaled throughout the years because I can see how I've changed, but also, more interestingly, how I've stayed the same.

There was a time where I was changing for the worse, and in the past 5 years or so I've thankfully turned that around.

I’ve only journaled to help me get through tricky times. Those are illegible scrawl for fear someone else might read it. Inevitably they all get burned away when I’m through to the other side of whatever I was working through. I don’t think I’d enjoy reading those back anyway. I can’t muster up the motivation for happy journaling. I would say that’s what I just social media for. Publicly stamping joyful moments of my life into the internets memory 😂

Haha, all of my journaling is sad or angry or frustrated or worse. I need it when I need to work through stuff and I use tarot spreads to help me along. I'm not a happy journaler by any means, because when I'm happy, there's no need to journal.

I've heard that gratitude journals bring a lot of joy and clarity into your life, so maybe I should tbh. Maybe #gratitudechain is worth pursuing.

Woah I think you just showed me where the best part of Nostr is. Thank you!
