Proof of work.

Wow. The photo of the two older men walking different paths …. that hits hard. Very good shot. 👏
Thank uu. Thats been a favorite to a few. Savannah, Georgia from up top a parking garage. 2015 I think
I completely disagree with this because this idea misses the depth and value of snapshots themselves.
For me, a snapshot captures raw, unfiltered moments, and this type of spontaneity can’t be staged or meticulously crafted.
My snapshots hold just as much value as deeply intentional photographs because they reflect my life as it was, not as an attempt to perfect it.
✅ A snapshot of my dog who passed away running through the ocean at sunrise is meaningful.
✅ A snapshot of a loved one tearing up after receiving a meaningful gift is meaningful.
✅ My early 2000’s 365 project filled with snapshots of my life is meaningful.
But….
✅ A six-light Legacy Portrait of a friend’s Grandmother just before she passed is meaningful.
✅ An award-winning wedding photograph made for a close friend taken 1000’s of miles from home is meaningful.
So my question for you is, why not both?
Thank you for the thought experiment ⚡️

I doubt you’re taking snapshots by my definition. This expands on my point…..a video I made several years ago.
