Kinda want to turn this graveyard of old hardware wallets into an art project of some sort.
Discussion
That’s your graveyard . Consider me dead
Hahaha some have been destroyed over the years.
Glue them together…in a stack 😒
Do they not work anymore? Should donate them
Would anyone really want someone else’s hardware wallet? I wouldn’t trust it.
The sentiment is nice. But in nature, I think it’s a bad idea. Could be too tunnel-visioned on it though, that’s just me
Ask Brekkie von Bitcoin
This is so sexy
Donate them to a school. See if u can them to teach a course on sound money.
Here is a idea https://youtu.be/XlknSaUOpoM
If seed they had still at play, destroy them. Shooting range is a fun disposing solution.
An exploded view in crystal epoxy would look cool on some of them, but requires perfect execution.
I'm schizo so I'd incinerate anything that had my seed on it.
yeah be careful where you leave your seed around! #[2]
Live edge
Lego style Sam Bankman bust.
I have so much old stuff like that as well, was going to make a mini museum in my house lol

Any particular reason you change your hardware wallets so often?
Bitrot
Interesting. Never thought about that before. How often do you change your hardware ?
Every few years at least. Like max 3 years, usually there’s a good reason to upgrade for security purposes and so then I switch.
Great opportunity to go through the motions of restoring a wallet. Something we’ll ALL need to keep fresh in our heads. 🤙
Agreed. Once that new cold card comes out I’ll upgrade my hardware.
Damn, I want that Mk4
or you could just make your HW evolution map
Just put them on the ground of a water basin, while a boat with orange people is hovering above it.
why not wipe them and donate to hodling noobs ??
Would you really trust someone else’s HW?
I got a ledger nano S off amazon in 2017
Works great
🤨
As much as I might appreciate and trust your advice l just can't see trusting your device. And it doesn't have anything to do with not trusting you, it just breaks security right?
There's the question of trusting the maker of the device, but you got your devices from them too so trusting them is happening regardless.
sure, but why not a business that does trusted / regularly vetted wiping process to repurpose old devices? or at least the wallet companies could do do some repurposing and upcycling
Encase them in resin
Have you heard of the artist Arman? Worth a look if you are thinking about what to do with
Your collection. Frozen in epoxy amber not a bad way to preserve them. https://www.artnet.com/artists/arman/
What wallet are you using now?
