Which means disparate ideologies and cultures will attach their belief systems to it.

Some will be sticky and link with bitcoin, some will bounce off.

This is a good thing.

There is no dominant bitcoin culture.

As much as I might appreciate and trust your advice l just can't see trusting your device. And it doesn't have anything to do with not trusting you, it just breaks security right?

There's the question of trusting the maker of the device, but you got your devices from them too so trusting them is happening regardless.

sure, but why not a business that does trusted / regularly vetted wiping process to repurpose old devices? or at least the wallet companies could do do some repurposing and upcycling
