Conclusion, Terawulf is Satoshi and pre-mined the genesis block in 1996. then launched the chain in 2009 which timestamped the block. I'm not even going to comment on the comment you got. The "bitcoin tech" in it's form exists since the genesis block, period. Zabo's Bitgold paper was the closest to BTC and he blogged about it long before the BTC paper dropped but "Bitcoin technology" - genesis block.

The bitcoin blockchain started in 2009 so this company obv wasnโt mining it in 1996. However the research into electronic currency began long before 2009.
Yes oc. electronic forms of payment were being played with much earlier. David Chaum's ecash for example. But none of them caught on until Satoshi solved that General dudes problem. Thus NOBODY used the "Bitcoin technology" before 2009. Not in this form.๐

Haha no yeah heโs just joking Iโm sure. I get that kind of dry humor vibe from him outside of this post. Just riffing on the fact that if someone has only heard of them as a public mining company, and then checks their stock history for all time they will experience that moment of expectations being unmatched with reality that is the heart of humor. This one is a bit too contrived to be very funny imo :)
