Ok, you were right. It is pretty cool to be able to use a domain and a bolt12 offer as a static payment code without having to set up a web server.

Now people can make use of all the domains they’re squatting on 😂. So easy to setup with Namecheap.
I'm with namecheap and they seem to be splitting my TXT value field into to sections because of the length of the offer. Have you had any issues?
it still works. i checked nostr:npub185h9z5yxn8uc7retm0n6gkm88358lejzparxms5kmy9epr236k2qcswrdp's address and his does that too.

make sure you enable DNSSEC. there's a toggle to turn it on..
Or use Mynymbox. We don't need any personal data, you can pay with Bitcoin, Lightning and Monero ;)
What is the plan if that cloud KYC bill gets passed
For us not a problem as we are registered on the Seychelles. But for any US Provider it can be a problem and privacy seeking customers will move to other providers
That's great but as we have seen, US tyranny does not end at its borders: like the recent extradition of the makers of Samourai wallet. If that kind of threat continues I guess cloud services and VPN providers can refuse business with IPs sourced in the US, where they seem to be gunning for a Great Firewall of China, er I mean USA
The proposal for the law counts for US IaaS providers and US companies. Normally it ends at this borders except you are a CEO of a company abroad and live in the US.
And till today Seychelles has no special MUTUAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE TREATIES (MLAT) with the US
Besides Phoenix, who is providing/accepting Bolt12 payments?
I created a Bolt12 address with twelve.cash. Sent a payment to myself from Phoenix. Holy cow, what a beautiful day…
