Some competition is a good thing. There should always be multiple choices bcz only the most foolish could be certain that TPTB won’t take control of btc. Heck I think they may have started it cuz they like to get everyone to voluntarily line up for the box cars.

True. Fiat currencies have never converged to one single currency and i doubt bitcoin would change this. I also doubt that bitcoin will be the only future option for investment as peter schiff will continue to hold gold 😄
