A student of mine just received a mark of 57% on their latest assignment, but this was doodled on the back.
This reaffirms my belief that if you spend enough time around someone, and you’re paying attention, you will eventually discover their hidden talents.
We all have things to discover and to share. 
I know a kid who was always drawing and got average marks at school. He is gifted and simply school was boring for him.
This is the case for many of my students. 💜
Nice! Encourage that! I had a great teacher when I was younger but I distinctly remember him crumpling up a drawing of mine and that was incredibly discouraging.
