I don't think the #LN is anymore "centralized" than #Bitcoin mining. I'm able to spin a new node up, open a channel, send #sats across the network to another #NodeRunner and nobody is able to stop the payment from happening.

That's true, it HAS remained accessible throughout, and tools for the ease of channel management are being developed.

I suppose as I've been triggered lately by seeing a lot of software that people flock to, which only allows centralised nodes and promotes centralisation of users' funds. Prime example being the Primal client on web which I ended up leaving.

This will always be the case. The majority of people will take the easy path and use a custodian. The only way to learn will be rugpulls. Expensive lessons are working wonders.
