I heard a psychologist say that the way men deal with stress and sadness is different from women. Men more often need to do something physically like hit a punching bag or scream while women need to talk and cry it out. Funny enough, therapy was originally built on what worked with middle aged women as that is who was most willing to work with Freud.

The gym is a great hobby 🫡

I will die in a landslide of junk from my 500 hobbies.

Anyhow, I need to get off my phone and head out to the garage now.

Measure twice.

I'm actually going to mow, I think I'd be out there all week with that advice.

That’s why I believe therapy is destructive for men. It’s a coping mechanism rooted in female psychology, now being pushed onto men, often making their problems worse.

Would it help if they were with a male therapist?

I don’t think so, unless psychologists are considered part of the therapist category.

They are. Psychologist is a broader term and therapist falls underneath it. Similar to how engineer is a broad term for mechanic and software dev

I thought it was the opposite? Therapists being a broader term. I could be wrong.

I guess we need to specify mental health therapist
