Listeners is so much better than followers! Both still have that messianic vibe tho. I think we could do even better. The term "Contact list" is in fact used in the NIP. But who contacts and contactees won't work 🤔 but I don't want to use followers and follows in the GitNestr client.
Sure... why not. People on X used to pay for this. I get it for free on Nostr.
On a serious note, I sometimes go over the followers and check them in case there are interesting profiles to follow. This is getting harder and soon unrealistic 😕

Thanks for passing by 🙏 Yup, we could figure out something less 'messianic'...
Contacts and friends lists both have the same bi-directional meaning issue. That's why we picked listeners because it also fits the concept of shouting in a marketplace.
Topics being listened to were called 'interests', so maybe something in that direction might work. "Admire" is also too much.
