Back to the annoying bot followers...

I noticed that posts with swearing get reposted by some foxy bots which eventually lead a bunch of other bots to start following me.

Sure... why not. People on X used to pay for this. I get it for free on Nostr.

On a serious note, I sometimes go over the followers and check them in case there are interesting profiles to follow. This is getting harder and soon unrealistic 😕

I also hate the term follow and followers. Gives me shepherd and sheep vibes.

Back in my active development days, I worked on an e-commerce social network called Shoutit. I used the terms "Listen", "listeners" and "Listens".

Listeners is so much better than followers! Both still have that messianic vibe tho. I think we could do even better. The term "Contact list" is in fact used in the NIP. But who contacts and contactees won't work 🤔 but I don't want to use followers and follows in the GitNestr client.
