I remember once reading a based article stating that wisdom teeth shouldn’t be removed. Something about there is a reason they are called “wisdom” teeth.
Anyone knows what this is about?

#NotADentist If your mouth is large enough to handle them without creating issues, keep them. I have mine. I have zero issues.
💯
Chew plenty and avoid mouth breathing.
This is especially important for developing children, before the damage of overcrowding is done.
It's something to do with the mewing and orthotropics movement. Their point is valid if you eat a diet that expands your mouth or practice the exercises needed
Yes i read some where they take them out so you dont become wiser. I have to read more about this. I never had my wisdom teeth taken out and when they grew in i felt like a Werewolf transforming...
Yeah something like that. But don’t remember the reasoning
Mine were impacted and had to be removed,
no change in judgement...

All four were removed by a Parachute Regiment ‘dentist’ using what looked remarkably like the end of a spoon.
I think you’re supposed to keep them if they’re not causing any problems…
