are you serious? mastodon is garbage. It's centralized and admins can ban you. I've joined some in the past and yes there is less spam because it's easier to remove but sometimes I see brusts of spam.
Definitely 90% less spam.
The instances are lame and boring. You also can't zap anyone.

Why? Elon Musk and X is a whole different subject. Elon Musk bought X because twitter was used as a propaganda machine and there was criminal activities going on there such as human trafficking.
They now have the evidence to arrest the users who were complict in the crimes and profiles are being shutdown because they are being paid by foreign actors to push propaganda. It's a massive sting operation to catch all the criminals which are mostly celebrities, politicans, CEOs, and "Influencers" aka propagandists.
Musk has banned people for criticizing him on X. He's no better than when it was still called Twitter.
It's because those who are criticizing him are on the payroll of the deep state. Their voices are being shut on purpose. Those who are criticizing him have a big following and are complict in crimes against humanity like human trafficking. It's all a big setup.

Elon Musk didn't fix X, he did a hostile takeover on it.
Why do to think X was supposed to be fixed? Fixed what? Like I said the hostile takeover was to quickly catch the criminal activity on the platform. They criminals didn't expect for Elon to take it over or they would of had time to delete their messages and delete databases. They got caught off guard and now the evidence of their crimes is in the hands of Elon Musk and Trump.
