Is it weird that Bitcoiners constantly couch their personas in terms of being stoicly, unnaturally correct about their assessment of the worldamd its fell state? Isn't it possible that, yes, you are gonna get offensively wealthy, but it had nothing to do with the fact that you (like a dork) read Meditations or Atlas Shrugged in high school, and more to do with you coincidentally getting a boner over a Michael Saylor meme at exactly the same time as a bunch of other people that read Meditations or Atlas Shrugged in high school?

Is it really you or just the universe unfolding into an hilariously absurd parody of you?

What’s the difference?

Maybe I’m older but I never even heard of those books in high school.

Poker got me into Bitcoin.

But what’s wrong with Saylor jarring people into it?

So gambling got you into bitcoin?

A lot of people did. Online gambling using Bitcoin was big for a little while

I find it more fitting that the people who have been driven to the margins of money inherit the earth. There are a couple generations of bitcoiners for whom actual use cases of bitcoin are a super-not-soon future thing; content with the ideological use cases of buying bitcoin signing accessories.

Yea, was the only way to play at the time.
