I often use throwaway emails, sometimes through guerrillamail.com or when that doesn't work, i use protonmail or others. I recently created a throwaway on PM and it was suspended within 24 hours. I appealed to see what was going on and that was the response. My guess is they mapped my IP address? Although I use a VPN and change the server locations on occasion, it seems they are keeping track. My thinking is to not only change the VPN server but change it to another location, such as another state or country or something, if creating another email but i have tested that yet
