For what use case? Messaging? If so. then Signal and SimpleX exist. Also iirc TG has opt-in privacy for messaging, so...

Please do share your experience when you do. I am extremely intrigued, but I just finished bullying my social bubble into using Signal and cannot make them switch to SimpleX.
I'm in a similar situation. Three years ago, I deleted WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, so all my family and friends were forced to use Telegram or Signal to contact me. At one point, I made the mistake of suggesting the XX Messenger App from David Chaum to a few friends. It turns out it was just a plot to introduce yet another unregistered security shitcoin. Now, I'm hesitant to ask family and friends to download a new messaging app.
