Failed at what exactly? It's massively better for private transactions than Bitcoin is.
Not crazy at all. Bitcoin already has all the tech in place (though it will probably get a little better when people settle on OP_CTV which has a lot of support), and it has the network effects and the game theory and economics. It's already money. It's already a medium of exchange and a store of value that anyone can use for freedom. It's not capable of failing at this point.
Before bitcoin, gold was the best money so I don’t see how being digital gold is bad, thousands of years of success as the best money in human history.
Yeah seriously. This is just ignorance of how money works, an understandable thing. I'm still reading The Theory of Money and Credit, but right in the beginning couple sections of the book, it is explained that store of value is one of the BEST catalysts for medium of exchange: the two are mutually reinforcing and somewhat entailed in each other.
Bitcoin is missing key features to become a currency. Digital gold, yes it could be that.
