And most people during most of human history existed in some state of slavery (and still do). Guns are needed to prevent chains. And the current state of the US proves guns alone aren't enough.
Interestingly, never in human history was there more prevalent slavery, suffering , exploitation and murder than during the American era during which the most guns were ever manufactured. So yes you are correct. America keeps the rest of the world in slavery with its guns. Similarly, Americans suffer high numbers of gun violence in their own country.
America is failing as an empire, its currency is dwindling, and geopolitically it is being outplayed. Decadence in society was a sign of all failing empires in history. I fully agree with you. Guns will not solve the problem. People with high intelligence, skills and leadership will. Guns can prevent chains but they also enforce them...
The first part of that is just not accurate at all. The US was a catalyst for a giant leap forward that infected the entire globe with productivity, prosperity, & ideas about individual rights, resulting in a greater reduction in poverty than at any other time in human history. The US is the safest place on earth if you remove from the stats the authoritarian leftwing cities that have banned guns. It is the corruption & abondonment of American ideals that is the problem.
But the American experiment WAS flawed & contained the seeds of its own destruction. The aim & ideas were basically correct, but the seed of legitimized theft set us on a path destined for corruption & empire & collapse. A force funded organization cannot be controlled or held accountable. Taxation has to end unless we want to repeat all the same mistakes again. Hopefully Bitcoin's nature helps in that area.
But guns are completely necessary for the existence of a peaceful society where the weak & vulnerable are not forced to live at the mercy of the strong. A man in a wheelchair with a gun is just as dangerous as any other man with a gun & that keeps those who might otherwise prey on him in check. Guns are equalizers.

I'm very aware that there is a world outside of the US. It sounds like maybe you should ask what it was that western culture got so right instead of blinding hating everything to do with it.
