Still dont know what to replace Wallet of Satoshi with for orange pill onboarding. That thing was great and this is going to suck. They all might have good tech but nothing Ive seen comes close in the department of understanding humans.

I agree, but if you wanna be private and self sovereign then WoS isn’t the answer either. just because they didn’t follow the rules doesn’t mean it’s a solution (i love them btw, Lightning legends)
i’d recommend Breez, Muun, Mutiny, or Phoenix for privacy and self sovereignty

of course. we follow the rules because I don’t want Coinbase being the ones representing on-ramps and regulated services globally. we need Bitcoiners in the ring and we want to be here forever

hmm, not sure. it’s much more difficult to do Lightning Addresses non-custodial. ZBD and Fountain are custodial, so same as Steike

Using Alby as a PWA on mobile (as well as desktop) works well and it's not TOO difficult for newbies. But I hear ya
Custodial: Alby and link it to an app like BlueWallet or Zeus.
Non-custodial: Zeus Beta or Mutiny
Glad I still have WOS as it just works easily and costs nothing.
Setting up a complicated lightning node and managing channels, and force closures loosing millions of sats is not for me. Only the most hard core will use this and they can be successful at it. Not for newbs though.
Mutiny wallet is very expensive.
Phoenix wallet is expensive also.
Hard to onboard newbs now. Maybe talk about art, cats, frogs, porn, dogs, politics, etc 🤷🏻♂️
