Haha nice, well, welcome. This community is still growing, but you’ll find it has a pretty chill atmosphere compared to Twitter.
Heavy focus on Bitcoin topics at the moment, but that shouldn’t put you off. People are generally open to talking about anything if you bring it up 😉
I see. What’s the best way to grow communities or audiences over here!! I had started by checking out some hashtags but sofar I’m realizing this is quite a different approach. Perhaps I should burry the social media app mindset.
Good question, I think we’re all still trying to figure that out, which is the exciting part.
People do tend to use hash tags, like #grownostr
Also people are starting to build tools like https://nostr.kiwi which is kinda Reddit-like

The TLDR is
- Setup a Lightning wallet by downloading one from the App Store (eg. Wallet of Satoshi)
- Add the Lightning Address (looks like an email) to your Nostr profile

Once you do that, people can Zaps your posts with tiny amounts of Bitcoin 🤙
