Well, it seems the chicks have outgrown their brooder box. They need to be moved into the big chicken house this week.

To all the chicken experts, what is your procedure for introducing pullets to the hen flock?

Update: pullets have been in the hen house for three or four days and all is well.

I have an automatic door, and the hens file out to free range at daylight. I feed the hens outside then feed the little ones inside after the hens are away.
