I'm sorry it wasn't a pleasant experience. having to be in a hospital, as a patient or a supporter of the patient is bad enough, it sucks that they overlooked the food. I was thinking about how some of the local foods from the Mexican community mixes sweet with spice and how i’ve enjoyed it, when i read the initial post.
It's all good, we had a really good,much needed laugh over it. I love spicy and sweet, this was not one of those times. It was worse because it was a beautiful muffin. 🫂
Oh yeah, if it was like a sweet cornbread with that little spice kicking in from the jalapeno, that would be bad ass. Getting cornmeal instead of pineapple cake mix is gonna be key to the success of the dish, though, I think. 😂
