Just want to put this out there and see if anyone has experience with using ibc totes as a way to condition water for irrigation. Our well water is saline and it seems that the algae/ bacteria lock up the salts. The tote reduces evaporation compared with a pond. Although it is super ugly but provides some shade in the desert sun.

The take away is it has been working great for the last 4 months here is AZ with the caliche soil here. Leaves are huge on Artichokes, 1st year fruit!
