reality is that for a lot of people who make a living in that world, the presence of algorithms means they can make a reliable business out of this.

censorship resistance is nice and all but the lack of one algorithm means they can't run the same kind of business

maybe they'll be able to adapt to more organic content distribution, but the winners of platforms will likely prefer to stay winning in censoring platforms

There are certainly ppl that hack the algorithm to make bank solely (Mr. Beast, etc.)

I watch a lot of sailing channels who are people that are committed to traveling the world and sharing the experience (good and bad). Many do it because they are passionate about sharing their YOLO life choice. Most barely make enough to the basic cameras and tons of time spend editing. There are so many other examples of this in other areas.
