Dude my friend was saying the same shit saying Biden should put sanctions on Turkiye.

Idk about Venezuelans but if the US did either sanctions or military invasion to oust Erdoğan, he would rise to 80% approval, and the entire country would glaze him and hate the US more. They would literally unite against the west even while starving. The economy is shit but it can get much much worse and that will be blamed on the US, not on Erdoğan.

Why do you have any faith in İmamoğlu being a good faith actor? Even if he was, he's just a "trust the west" liberal loser. And considering the corrupt apparatus he is a part of, it wouldn't take long before they start robbing the country blind just the same.
