is there such thing as good censorship?
Call it what you want, I don’t consider it censorship. I call it blocking illegal child porn for the safety of children around the world, for the safety of nostr and its reputation, and the safety of team nostr.build.
The beauty of nostr is you can fully support servers that do host child porn or you can host it in your own server! Not on nostr.build..
I see censorship as blocking Trump ads, or RFK videos, we don’t touch any of that kind of shit, but are strict about illegal content especially CSAM!
yes and I agree. my point is that what's acceptable for some is not for others and that's where someone needs to draw the line as what is good censorship or not. some will say banning Trump is good censorship.
