What's your opinion on BIP 177? I'm of the opinion that long decimal numbers are cumbersome and I like the proposal, in fact I'm already using sats as the base unit in my newer projects.

With BIP-177, “bitcoin” would be the base unit not “sats”
sorry, English is not my first language and I frequently make mistakes. what I mean is that i use bitcoins as the base unit. this is how the wallets in https://chachi.chat look like:

Feels like this contradicts the 21 million mnemonic that’s ingrained in Bitcoins DNA.
This seems to cause even more confusion for the average pre-coiner that might have just gotten the 21M hardcap and is now pushed towards thinking about potential supply dilution.
