The reason governments spend money on things like education and healthcare is to uplift the people, who will give much more back in ingenuity, culture, and productivity.
That is, if the government then has the wisdom to step out of the way and let the people flourish according to their own talents and drives.
Personally I feel like the government provide "education" is so that they can forcefully control the data we are exposed to as we develop, encouraging (essentially brainwashing through social conditioning) a thought process that is in line with their agenda.
Public schools dodnt teach me to think for myself it taught me how to work for someone else.
Didn't teach me how money worked or what it even was, didn't even teach me how to do a tax return.
Schools are failing society in my opinion
Maybe I'm wrong and I'm slightly irrational because I hate the government in general but yeah that's my general veiws on the subject
When the government spends OPM on anything it is simply money laundering.
That's why they spend a lot on education, but many graduates cannot read. They overpay for roads that constantly need repairs. Invest in businesses that instantly fail after everyone is paid.
Research, how much of this money comes back to the politicians who spend it.
