Subnostr

Primal appears to be leading the way in the Nostr client innovation. They've developed their own client and introduced a premium subscription model. This paid tier includes features such as a Lightning wallet, access to their relay, media uploads, and more.

I think this is a smart business move, especially as more people gradually migrate to Nostr. Most users aren't interested in managing their own relay or media hosting, which makes Primal's offering particularly valuable. I believe it has the potential to become quite popular.

The subscription model also provides a sustainable way for Primal to generate revenue and continue developing new features.

Since my primary phone doesn’t have Google services, I couldn't view the price initially. I installed the app on a different phone, and as shown in the screenshot, the subscription costs about $6.88 USD per month.

It seems that payment via Bitcoin Lightning is not currently supported, which is a bit surprising given the Nostr community’s affinity for Bitcoin.

I’d love to see other projects take a similar approach to foster healthy competition within the Nostr ecosystem.

Come to android and try the best nostr client amethyst where everything is free

I am on android, my phone is just using a rom that doesn't have google services. About 90% of apps work.

I am also using Amethyst it's my favorite but I'd gladly pay for a client if it's better then Amethyst because I like supporting or buying software if I think it's worth it.
