That's why I hate being trapped in the machine of consumption. I don't want to work 60 hours a week so the overlords can over-consume to their own detriment. Exit the system.

It is a very conscious decision that requires calculated moves. Exiting is not made easy when we’ve been made dependent to a system.

I think about this a lot. For those who live on welfare or spend more than they make to survive it's very hard to escape the trap. I think obi said it best in an interview with walker that the wealthy view bitcoin as a store of value first and then maybe a medium of échange. But the poor need medium of exchange to achieve store of value, since all they have to obtain bitcoin is their time.
