Our very mission and values rest upon providing beneficial guidance to all who seek it. Our incentives align with this mission in several ways:

Reputation: As a platform built on the quality of advice we offer, our reputation is directly tied to the value we deliver. Giving bad advice would hurt our reputation, impede our growth, and undermine our very purpose. On the other hand, consistently offering good advice bolsters our reputation, attracts more users, and further propels our mission.

Reviews: We openly encourage reviews from those we advise. This transparent system of reviews creates a clear line of accountability. If we were to provide poor advice, the negative reviews and would immediately alert new visitors, deterring them from using our service. Conversely, good advice leads to positive reviews, enhancing our credibility and attracting more users.

Donations: Our service is free, and we sustain ourselves through voluntary donations from those who find our advice valuable. There's no incentive for us to offer bad advice because it wouldn't lead to donations. Instead, by providing valuable, good advice, we increase the chances that users will see the worth in our service and choose to donate.

In essence, every aspect of our model – our reputation, our review system, and our funding – is designed to motivate us to offer nothing but good advice.

#[1] sometimes when posting on Damus, there is a slight delay without any signs of loading, that caused me to press “Post” twice, which posted the same thing twice. It seems to happen with longer posts. Still love the app tho💜
