I need to stand in front of a mirror and practice.

Last week was repeating "You are allowed to say no, dear. Steel yourself."

I've moved on to "No, thanks!"

Next week will be "No."

And then we can get into more advanced stuff like "stop", "get off of me", and "my man is built like Max Schmeling and has a bad temper".

Baby steps.

Do you think it comes out easier with a Skandinavien accent? πŸ€”

Depends on if it's Norwegian (Nei, pronounced with a rising end), Swedish (Nej) or Danish (Nej, pronounced like you have a potato in your mouth).

Ooh. "nei" has an upturn. Fits to my accent.

Norwegian is very sing-song. Lovely to listen to, it almost makes you happy.
