Read Ocean censors the blockchain, explicitly. Lmao. Okay. Today it's data they don't like in the form of ordinals, tomorrow it's your transaction if you have the wrong opinion.

is that true? ouch

Censoring ordinals and high fee transactions. He allegedly confirmed it in person, he liked a tweet saying so, and people tracking the pool confirmed it. It's aa huge loss of profit for miners. I don't see how this encourages decentralization or censorship resistance. 🤷🏻‍♀️

my mind is blown 🤣🤣🤣

From my short time using it, it looked like a miner can select a template they want to use such as filtering out ordinals transactions. So I don't think it's across the board.

It's not like they are the only ones mining. They'd have to get big enough to be finding blocks all the time to make an impact. It'll be interesting to see what effects this has.

That's why decentralizion matters. It's just weird that all the big money whoops it up and donated millions to people who don't have incentives to decentralize because the profit to mine is less and don't commit to not censor.
