💯. The desire for so called “safety” is a primary impediment to liberty.
A certain percentage of people will never respect your shit and it will always be that way. That's why we need to cull a few takers every now and then.
I think the better strategy is to build tools that just generally render them impotent, but I'm not completely opposed to hanging some of the bastards when the need arises.
