I often praise Android, but I can also complain about Android issues too. Though, this may exist on iOS as well. Often when traveling around town or walking around my neighborhood, my phone will connect to open WiFi networks that I've connected to before. This would generally be fine, unless I'm streaming music, a video, or attempting to do a voice search at the exact moment this handoff from cellular to weak WiFi happens. The result is whatever I'm listening to stops working or my search result fails. The fix is generally for me to say a swear word or two and then turn off WiFi until I return home. I don't mind switching to WiFi automatically, but not while I'm driving or not while I'm walking and streaming something.
Change your settings so it will ask you before connecting, it works for me

I want it to auto connect sometimes though. For example: If Android Auto is active, I shouldn't be switching to WiFi for 3 seconds as a drive last a business or house.
Yeah i got you but for me the podcast stoping was the real issue
