Some (maybe majority) of the clients will choose to proxy media and resize it, which IMHO defeats the purpose of the hashing to begin with

they shoulda started with the whole transcoding and fallback and formats stuff, before being like, yea sha256! as if transcoding wasnt enough cpu already 😅

Sha256 for media is kinda dumb too, crc32 would be just as good for what I care 🤣

yeah, idk whether blossom has a spec for paths that signify a file that has an original content hash but has been transcoded to another format. it really should have this, at least, for the media CDN variant
