Just a few days ago, I was reading about an undiscovered civilization in the Amazon rainforest. The mere thought that there could be a sophisticated civilization of which we know nothing is mind-blowing in itself.

Yes! And it is pretty obvious by now that winners or survivors write the history, so who knows what is unknown 🤷‍♂️

I think there is more to this. Cave paintings started appearing everywhere after the Ice Age. What existed before that? Was there any other sophisticated civilization before the Ice Age? Maybe we will never know.

I remember many years ago there was some tribe that had never seen today’s civilisation. Not sure if there are anymore left in the Amazon, however the area is sadly being ripped apart for logging and unfortunately the authorities do not have the means to stop this! Just awful.

Some very reliable accounts suggest that there was a very large civilization in the Amazon rainforest.

However, when outsiders began infiltrating those areas, the native population had no immunity to diseases like smallpox, which became a reason for their destruction, similar to what happened with Native Americans like Aztecs

Oh how incredibly sad. Have you read a book called ‘The Celestine Prophecy’? Interesting read if you have the time, like to read and are open minded.

Sure I will look into it, I love books

If you end up reading it, I’d be keen to hear your feedback 🫂, if not that’s completely fine it’s not for everyone and must be at the right time in ones life 💜

Prepare for the synchronicities afterwards

Have you read it?

Yes. Long time ago… maybe 20 years or something…

Wow, excellent. How did you find it?

Like everyone else - through a friend :)

Sorry, I meant how did you find the whole story of it?

Oh you mean did I liked it, I guess.

Sorry not a native speaker.

It was good. Packs some truths that we feel normally, but it is nice to be read.

All good 🫂, thank you for sharing that with us 💜

This one is a quite some work on similar matter but not as a nice story.

Yeah sure, if possible I will create some kind of summary

Still can’t get my head around the fact the British have blankets infected with small pox to the Indians. Biological warfare back in the day.

Atrocity!

Unfortunately, that was not the worst thing that happened.

It wasn't intentional but If a civilization is isolated without immunity to diseases, it can result in disastrous consequences for them. Back then people didn't understand that.

I think they knew exactly what they were doing.

“We know for instance in the 1700s that the British certainly purposely transmitted smallpox during the Seven Years' War at Fort Pitt, which is now Pittsburgh," said Hackett.

War is evil
