Watching Proto's live stream, I realized the biggest problem for miners is having their mining interrupted when a machine crashes. Even if just a fan broke, they had to shut down the whole machine and stop mining. They needed to open the case with a Phillips screwdriver, let it cool down, and wait until the machine was back in a good mood. During that time, product support didn’t really help — it was just a matter of waiting.
I couldn’t believe it at first, but this new machine doesn’t stop mining even if one board fails. You can replace the broken board without shutting the whole thing down. Truly non-stop.
