You can also make a close friends feed using primals advanced search. That’s what I’ve done

amethyst has list viewing which was good enough but moving to primal for better speed and I miss that

makes sense on what's happening though... I don't think paid features are a bad thing but hoping these devs do better than silicon valley

This is odd. It’s letting me search but there’s this ad banner with the search results. Maybe it’s free now but they’ll switch to pay only later

It seems to work when I tried just now but the messaging is confusing. In primal premium section it seems like advanced search is a paid feature. And at the bottom of the search results it says that advanced search is paid. I’m a bit confused by this
Hello, great questions. Currently, as a non-premium user you will be able to use advanced search and receive a maximum of 20 results. Premium advanced search has an unlimited amount of results per search. All users will be able to save their advanced search feeds, but non-premium users will be limited to 20 results in their feeds.

Another question for you: how do I find out what’s the address associated to my primal wallet? Currently it shows the address I use on Damus. I haven’t tried Primal in a long time

Primal is fine. I prefer Damus but have both. Those are the only two I’ve played with.
User experience is much much better on Damus but I haven’t used Primal in a minute so maybe it’s better now.
I wonder if the primal ios app lets you use a different wallet than the primal built in wallet though. Rhat was an issue I had before

On android we have the option to connect our own wallet so I’ve done mini bits and or alby through NWC. I also hate the KYC crap
If I have to zap with their kyc wallet, the advanced search might be supreme but I still need something more sovereign like Damus
Unfortunately due to iOS regulations we are unable to offer support for NWC on our iOS app. The only option for NWC with Primal is through the Web app through an extension or with Android.

2.0 was an improvement, I’ve been using amethyst because primal was too slow on android …
But now I’m missing notes on amethyst, keeps getting slower so primal may be better
I’ve used Damus on the iPad and agree that’s a nice experience (outside of the zapping and no list support)
