Yeah definitely. My hope is that people in the crypto do not get "dug in" and refuse to pivot to bitcoin only. I believe that's called sunk cost bias.

I think a lot of people remain in crypto for that reason unfortunately.

Yeah, once they're in deep...hard to pivot, usually a particular pain point will get them looking at things the right way - unfortunately many who get burned in crypto then assume bitcoin is the same thing and simply no longer participate - I have a couple of friends who got burned early and now won't touch Bitcoin

This is embarrassing but 100% true. I got rekt by Terra Luna. That was the last time I touched crypto. As painful as that was at the time, it was necessary.

I may never have realized what I was doing wrong.

Got rekt by Josh Garza's Paycoin scam back in 2015, went bitcoin only a while later when I realised I'd been dazzled by the allure of easy gains and that there was a more important goal to stay focused on.
