I don't think they care about what many of us see as the ultimate goal, it's just not so important to them - I see it all as a distraction, especially now, and I'm sure that's the same for many of us, but the majority of shitcoiners are still focusing on fiat gains and getting rich with no effort - we're focused on completely different things

Yeah definitely. My hope is that people in the crypto do not get "dug in" and refuse to pivot to bitcoin only. I believe that's called sunk cost bias.

I think a lot of people remain in crypto for that reason unfortunately.

Yeah, once they're in deep...hard to pivot, usually a particular pain point will get them looking at things the right way - unfortunately many who get burned in crypto then assume bitcoin is the same thing and simply no longer participate - I have a couple of friends who got burned early and now won't touch Bitcoin
