Tariffed items are more expensive for consumers right? We agree there? Okay so doesn't that encourage people to not buy those items?

People used to complain about not buying local, now they complain that buying imports are too expensive.

Maybe in a fantasy world. Its extortion. Buy from this company, not that company, or else. Its a tax. Period. Are you seriously arguing in favor of more taxes?

It dont mattter how you see it. This isnt a matter of opinion. Its by definition a tax. I sent you the links. Are you really saying your opinion supercedes the literal definition?
