His voice would count the same as everyone elses voice on nostr. No elevating of profiles/comments.

Then why worry why he is here rather than anyone else. I am glad he's not.

also the Strike integration required registration, KYC and more, quite an entry barrier if you just wanted to send a few satoshis

You have to click profiles and they have to have the "Tip" activated.

afaik it's still up for android and ios

not available through web tho, maybe that's why it appears to be gone for some?
