nostr:npub108pv4cg5ag52nq082kd5leu9ffrn2gdg6g4xdwatn73y36uzplmq9uyev6 I don't think they believe people reincarnate as animals, they believe they reincarnate as a person again

Some part of us do not believe at this.

Even so, We only mind our business ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well yes. We may be not vegetarian. But still we also believe some stuff other than reincarnation (eg. karma, law of cause and effect, etc)

Not sure how true it is but I always heard Buddhists in Tibet have long eaten meat and worn fur but get their Muslim neighbors to kill the animals for them

Most communities like that live off of donations, and they aren’t very picky about what is donated. Definitely an interesting setup.

It's probably true. I've seen the meat markets in neighbouring Myanmar and had that discussion with friends who are Buddhists. They don't seem to see the contradiction 😂

I remember eating teriyaki chicken at our local Buddhist temple. Every time they put on the event.

I don't believe in reincarnation, but just in case it is true I'm going to increase my meat consumption to increase the chance of eating someone famous, such as Leonardo DaVinci or Nikola Tesla.

And their powers will become your own

well obviously

Keeping animals alive forever is going to require the terraforming of Mars. Do you support terraforming of Mars and do you support the forcible transfer of animals (a possible crime against animality) to the terraformed Mars so that they do not die of Malthusian starvation here on an overcroweded Earth?

I support exodus from the surface to earth’s gravity well.

(Of humans) likely that the rich will possess the surface of the earth
