I'm not sure if I've talked about it on here, but I am making open source hardware password managers.

It completely open source, from the software, to the firmware, to the electronics to the 3D printed case!

It's like a software password manager but it adds physical security. Nothing can be accessed, updated or deleted without a physical button press.

Attached pic shows the latest case design.

If you're interested, they're $40 USD +shipping if you pay in #bitcoin and $45 +shipping if you pay another way.

Sorry to price things in USD instead of in sats, but Mouser doesn't accept bitcoin and I can't afford to take the risk. If people are actually interested in buying these things, and I can build up an inventory, I'd love to price it in BTC and make the fiat people have the fluxuating price. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

This is awesome, any docs you can link to?

Yeah id like to know how it works as well. Super neat idea.

I'm going to put together a quick (~90 second) demo video in the next couple weeks to give people a proper intriduction.

In the meantime, I've got this:

Sick! Ill check it out

K-rad! If you want to build one, I'd be happy to field any questions. Just make sure to use version 1.3 of the hardware. I know 1.3 works fine while version 1.4 is *completely* untested.

Having said that, it was a bitch to get everything sorted out when I built my first one. I promise you it's going to be cheaper and less frustrating to just buy one from me. But you don't have to take my word for it. ๐Ÿคฃ

This challenge only forces me to accept it until I conquer it ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿคฃ

Well shit, in that case, you should definately try out version 1.4 of the PCB and let me know if it works perfectly on the first try. ๐Ÿคฃ

I mean, if you want to play on hard mode, I can encourage you to do that too. I'm happy to have someone reproduce my work. After all, it's not science until someone independently verifies the results.

They're small and in need of impovement, but yes:
