Apple can try to ban zaps; but in the end they'll be impotent against it. I've already implemented a zap mechanism in more-speech that I can activate with Damus. I simply send a DM to myself with "zap 1000000->unclebobmartin" and my desktop client (more-speech) will recieve it and use wallet-connect to send the zap. There's no way Apple can block something like that.
