Ahh, my beloved bucket cord. Found this way of keeping dropcords on a construction forum couple years ago and it quickly became my favorite. Simply start at the male end, keep a few feet out of the bucket, start pulling the cord into the bucket and letting it spool around the interior of the bucket until you have the female end in the bucket, then spool the male end on top. To use, plug in the male end and grab the female end and start walking, what you need will spool right out for you. When you’re done, spool the female end back inside and toss in the male end, done. Keeps the cord clean, tangle free, and also lets the cord flex how it naturally wants to instead of forcing it into a daisy chain or something else.
